Don’t miss the first ever Network for a Healthy California Physical Activity Forum to be held in Sonoma County.

Being physically active doesn’t have to be expensive!  Come discuss ways to keep physical activity programs thriving through tough economic times.  There will be presenters sharing ideas and resources as well as time to share your own best practices.  This will be an active training so wear comfortable shoes and dress to move.

 

 

The afternoon session will feature Dianne Wilson-Graham's training: "Integrating Performance-Related Nutrition in Physical Education & Activity Programs."

 Learning Objectives:

·   Examine the content in the California Physical Education Model Content Standards and the connections for physical activity programs.

·   Examine the content standards that contain performance related nutrition education.

·   Build competencies for implementing and disseminating performance-related nutrition  instructional materials.
