Network for a Healthy California – Campaign

The Network for a Healthy California - Campaign is a statewide initiative led by the California Department of Health Services and administered by the Public Health Institute in cooperation with the National Fruits & Veggies-More Matters Program of the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

The Campaign’s efforts are geared toward reducing the risk of chronic diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, hypertension, stroke, diabetes, and obesity by encouraging Californians to:

  • Consume the recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables every day

  • Engage in physical activity every day

 

The Network for a Healthy California - Campaign works with local, state, and national partners to build healthy communities.
