Information and Registration for Meetings, Trainings, and Forums in the Northcoast Region
Up-Coming Meetings, Trainings, and Forums:
NNFC Quarterly Meeting - April 8th, 2010
Physical Activity Forum - April 9th, 2010
Fresh Fruits and Vegetables: A Centerpiece for Healthy School Environment Training:
- Mark your calendars for the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program Centerpiece for Healthy School Environment Trainings nearest you. These trainings are replacing the mandatory Spring SHAPE Meetings. Power Play! Coordinators will be asked to present on Day 1, around 1pm, for 45 minutes. The local meeting coordinators (Diana Bergman, Jeri Ohmart/Carol Hillhouse, and John Fisher) will be contacting you with logistics (such as number of attendees and exact presentation time). We will be providing you with a presentation outline (interactive PP! activity, why PP! is worth doing, how to participate in PP!, how to use PP! with Harvest of the Month) and a PowerPoint presentation for you to use/modify. You are also being requested to do a taste testing/food demo with salad greens (we were given a session title of “Go Greens with Network Resources”), so start collecting your food demo supplies. More info to come after we’re done prepping for the regional coordinators’ meeting!
- Meetings in and near the Northcoast Region:
